We are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 1pm - 4pm.
Registration starts at 12pm. NOTE- FACE MASKS ARE MANDATORY AND MUST BE WORN IN YOUR CAR OR IN THE WALK UP LINE.
Currently, we are distributing food in a drive through or walk up manner. You must stay in your car the entire time and need to make sure we can load your groceries in your trunk. Those who walk up are to line up on the silver tape and make sure to keep appropriate distance with everyone.
Clothing is available outside in the parking lot from 11:30 -12:30 Wednesday and Thursday as long as it is not raining. Let the parking lot attendant know you need clothing and when they are ready for you they will walk you over to the clothing. You must be in zip code, experiencing homelessness or be a veteran with documentation and all must have IDs.
We are unable to serve hot lunches at this time.
Grocery Assistance for the following zip codes:
30030, 30032, 30033, 30319, 30324, 30329, 30340, 30341, 30345
(exceptions made for veterans with documentation
and those experiencing homelessness).
Please bring Identification and proof of residency and make them available at registration.
We do not provide any rental or utility assistance.
MARTA had to reduce bus service to 41 routes to prioritize essential transit service during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, the route 30 bus that runs on Lavista Road in front of THCA was one of the routes cut.
GOOD NEWS though! Starting Tuesday, May 12, there will be a shuttle running on Lavista during THCA distribution hours from 1p to 4p every Tuesday and Thursday.
To take the shuttle, volunteers or clients will take the route 6 bus to the stop at Lavista and Briarcliff. The shuttle will pick up there, transport you to THCA picnic table where it will also pick up and then return to the stop at Lavista and Briarcliff to catch the route 6 bus.
ALL RIDERS ARE ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK! Please note - Shirts and pants are required while on THCA property.

Dear THCA staff, volunteers, and clients,
With recent confirmation of cases in Georgia and metro Atlanta of COVID 19, we are working hard to implement precautions that will help protect our guests, volunteers and staff from infection.
VOLUNTEERS/GUESTS EACH WEEK
At the present time we are wiping down chairs, tables, carts, doorknobs, multiple times a day. Gloves, tissues, wipes and hand sanitizers are available for volunteers. Temperatures are being taken for all volunteers before they enter the building. Guests must wear masks and may be asked to use sanitizer.
We encourage everyone to take the following precautions as recommended by the CDC to protect yourself and those around you:
--wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.
--stay home when you are sick and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen.
--avoid close contact with those who are sick.
--avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
--cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing.
--clean and disinfect surfaces.
--get a flu shot if you have not already.
--maintain a distance of six feet from others (social distancing).
Volunteers should not come to Toco Hills Community Alliance if they are:
--experiencing a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing or are otherwise ill
--have been exposed to an individual with COVID 19
--or have any condition or status that may make you more susceptible to serious complications if you contract COVID 19. Older adults and persons with underlying health conditions are considered to be at increased risk for severe illness and complications from COVID19.

Beginning 3/17/20, guests will not be permitted to come into the building, and we will have limited volunteers and staff in the building.
Beginning 3/17/20, we will begin distributing food at the pantry as pre-packed “express bags/boxes” available at the side entrance on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We should all strive to follow the precautions indicated above.
PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR. NO SMOKING OR VAPING WHILE IN LINE TO GET YOUR FOOD. MAKE SURE YOUR TRUNK IS EMPTY AND THE TRUNK OPEN. WE DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO GET IN YOUR CAR - IT IS SAFER THIS WAY. YOU WILL COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION WITH A THCA REPRESENTATIVE THEN DRIVE UP TO THE SIDE DOOR AND A VOLUNTEER WILL PLACE YOUR BOX IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR.
YOU MUST NOT LINE UP IN YOUR CARS BEFORE NOON. WE HAVE DELIVERIES COMING IN AND THIS WILL HINDER GETTING FOOD INTO THE BUILDING FOR DISTRIBUTION.
OUR HOURS OF OPERATION WILL STILL BE 1 PM TO 4 PM.
Beginning 3/17/20 our “hot lunch” service will be cancelled. We will strive to distribute “lunch” type food in the “express bags/boxes” described above on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We should all strive to follow the precautions indicated above.
Beginning 3/17/20, our clothes closet will be closed inside. As of 6/17/2020, provided it is not raining, we will have racks of clothing outside. Your parking lot attendant will get you registered if you are interested. Clothing is available from 11:30 - 12:30 Wednesday and Thursday.
