Fighting Food Insecurity

Since we reached out at then end of October, we have been overwhelmed in the best way possible by your support; truly, our community has rallied to help us try to meet the need rising because of high prices, layoffs, and the halt of SNAP benefits.
THANK YOU to the many congregations, schools, businesses, and individuals throughout our neighborhood who are helping us make a difference.

Our community’s generosity in 2024 has created far greater impact in our Toco Hills community than any year that came before it. This year, we’ve served 30% more families than just last year!

 

Here are a few of the highlights of what you have helped THCA accomplish this year:

 

*over 1.4 million pounds of food given out

 

*over 35,000 families served with over 90,000 people in them

 

*almost 8,000 meals shared with our unhoused friends

 

*nearly 500 weekend backpacks packed for food insecure families in a local elementary school

 

*almost 200 meals delivered through our partnership with DoorDash.
