A Community Food Pantry
Toco Hills Community Alliance was founded in 1998 by the community of faith as a non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance to our neighbors. The organization became a qualified 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and has expanded its service area in the northeast Atlanta area. We currently serve a 9 ZIP code area providing emergency food supplies.

To make available emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need in the northeast communities of Atlanta. To sponsor and promote assistance programs and services that will result in greater economic stability and independence for those individuals and families in need. To provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to be of service to their neighbors by helping individuals and families in need.
WHAT WE DO
We provide non-perishable food, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy items, breads, meat and desserts. We are grateful to our corporate partners and local businesses like Avalon Caterers, Costco, Fresh Market, Kroger, Masada Bread, Publix, Second Helping, St. Pius School, Sprouts, Target, TGM Bread, and Whole Foods who work with us to share fresh, nutritious food with those who often do not have access to quality groceries.
In 2018, we served 12,449 households representing 31,220 individuals. Of this, 7,211 were 65 years old or older; and 8,095 were under 18. Each household received an average of 40 lbs of food each time they visited. This means that last year along, we shared a total of 491,301 lbs of healthy, fresh food.
In 2018, we also served over 19,607 hot meals, all created from donated food. And, we gave away 1000 pieces of clothing each week – meaning that by the end of the year, 52,000 pieces of clothing were in the hands of new owners.
Toco Hills Community Alliance (THCA) is a group of faith communities and others working together to help our Atlanta area neighbors in need.
